About the author Tony Chiodo
Tony Chiodo started his career as an apprentice at Mietta's in Melbourne before heading to Italy to study at La Guida Italiana di Cucina in Milan. He has worked in some of Italy's top restaurants and studied yoga and meditation in Japan and India. Tony's journey into natural health and foods began when he worked at Wild Rice Wholefoods Café, before embarking on his own adventure with Café Angelica in Kew. He went on to qualify as a macrobiotic and wholefoods teacher at the Kushi Institute in Boston. Tony regularly writes for The Age's Epicure section and his recipes have also appeared in Vogue Entertaining + Travel, Vogue Living and Australian Gourmet Traveller.
